Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019: Best of Handbags

Handbags and shoes are two of the things I gravitate toward during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because of the incredible deals they have on high quality items!  Every year Nordstrom releases several exclusive Tory Burch bags that are heavily marked down.  This year they came out with a brand new style (see the first bag below!) and I’m in love 😍.  And for your shopping fun, HERE is a link to all the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Handbags included this year!

Below are my thoughts on the bags I brought home with me to help you make a decision on which bag is right for you.  Make sure to snag one now if you are in need of one because in a couple of weeks they will go up in price!

TORY BURCH ‘EVERLY FLAP SADDLE BAG’

This bag may be my favorite bag I grabbed from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!  It’s one I’ve never seen included in the sale in previous years and I am in love with the cream color!  It is perfect for Summer, transitioning to Fall, and even will be gorgeous as a Winter white.  Crossbody styles are my favorite and this one is so lightweight and easy to carry around.

Inside, there is one zipper pocket and the main pouch has enough room to carry my full-size wallet, sunglasses, and keys with a bunch of room left for other things as well!  I couldn’t decide if I wanted the cream or black (love the black & gold combo!) so I grabbed both and need to make up my mind!

TORY BURCH ‘EVERLY MINI BAG’

This one is a huge favorite and top-seller every single year because it’s so good!  It’s SO lightweight and essentially a wallet on a chain because it has 4 card slots and a cash slot built into the inside so that you don’t have to carry a separate wallet.  This makes it ideal for traveling because you only have to carry one lightweight thing!  It also packs completely flat 🙌🏼.

I love how the strap as a little bit of the brushed gold chain because it’s so pretty, but the part on your shoulder is leather to make it easier to wear and won’t get your hair caught in it.  this is also the best mom-bag because you can easily throw across you, feel no weight, and still have your diaper bag without feeling like you’re carting around two bags all the time.

TORY BURCH ‘EVERLY TOTE’

If you are looking for the ultimate work/play bag, this is it!!  It fits a MacBook no problem in either of the two compartments and is the perfect balance of structured (stands up) and soft leather (comfortable).  The leather straps also make it comfortable to wear on your shoulder even if it is full and heavy.  There’s a middle compartment that zips to carry valuables like your wallet or other items you don’t want loose in either of the two side compartments.

Bags like this are an investment, but if you’re in need definitely grab it while it’s on sale!  Super versatile and I love the black and light umber colors because they go with just about everything!

REBECCA MINKOFF ‘STELLA SUEDE SATCHEL’

This bag is absolutely stunning in person.  The suede is gorgeous and the gold hardware and clip totally remind me of a high-end designer bag that’s about 10 times the price 😂.  The clip on the front is actually only for looks and the flap is magnetic.  The clip stays clipped so it always looks good!  Inside is a zipper pocket for small items as well as an open pocket.  There is lots of room inside for a large wallet, keys, sunglasses, diapers, wipes, lol.  You name it!

The backside of the bag is leather, so the suede won’t rub on your clothes at all.And the best part is the backside is a magnetic pocket where you can store your phone or other flat items.  You can carry this one by the handle or with the longer shoulder strap.

TORY BURCH ‘EVERLY PASSPORT CONTINENTAL’ WALLET

Zip-around wallets are hands-down the best style if you have a lot of things you need to store with you and have easy access to.  In this wallet, there are 18 card slots (!), a zip pocket for change, room for your passport, and pouches for cash!  It is not very big in person and can easily fit into every single bag I’m sharing in this post (I tested it 😉), except for the Tory Burch Mini Bag.

They’re offering it in 3 colors this year, and the light umber was my favorite.  If you need to carry lots of things in your wallet with you, definitely grab this one!

REBECCA MINKOFF ‘JODY CONVERTIBLE HOBO’

This bag is so neat!  it can be zipped up completely flat and worn on your shoulder, or unzipped at the bottom and expanded to be a bigger, roomier hobo bag!  It has two straps so that you can carry it on your arm as a satchel or war it with the longer strap on your shoulder.  Two features I really like about it: it has a magnetic closure at the top so that when you set it down it stays closed without having to zip & it has a small zipper pocket inside to keep smaller items so they don’t get lost.

It comes in four color options; two suede and two pebbled leather.  I couldn’t decide between the taupe leather or the “acorn” suede which is like a rust color.  I decided on the acorn because I think it will be perfect for Fall and love the suede.  If you want something more durable, I would definitely go with the all leather version!
