It’s here! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019 is now live! I’ve sifted through all of the items and am so excited to share my top picks with you! Nordstrom totally outdid themselves with the selection this year in comparison to previous years, and I am so excited about all of these things! If you aren’t familiar with the sale, check out this page with all the info about why it’s so special. And if you aren’t a cardmember, don’t worry! The sale goes live to everyone next week on the 19th, and you can start making your shopping list now 😉. Get a head start and read 10 things you need to know before you shop HERE!
It was so hard to narrow down my top picks, so I tried to stick with what tends to be most popular during the sale and sells out the quickest so that you can get a jump start. I will be doing try-on hauls of everything I got on my Instagram Story throughout the sale, so be sure to follow along HERE! But for now, here are just a few of my favorites! Just a pro tip: If you see something you like, buy it now (in multiple sizes)! The best items sell out and are rarely restocked. Nordstrom has an awesome return policy (free return shipping!) and you can easily return the items and sizes that don’t work out!
SHOES
Let’s start with the shoes because they are hands down my favorite thing to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for each year! I legit bought way more pairs than I should, but now is the time to stock up on boots and booties because come Fall, they definitely won’t be on sale any more! I’m going to call it now, the best selling bootie of the whole sale (and my personal favorite pair!) is going to be the Vince Camuto ‘Gigietta Bootie’. I got the color “Tortilla” which is the best light tan suede with a block wood heel, but they come in 5 different colors, including 2 snakeskin options! My other favorite booties are the BP ‘Heath Bootie’ (under $70!) and the Vince Camuto ‘Nethera Perforated Bootie’ if you like a lower heel!
This year I was so impressed by the flats and grabbed several pairs that I know I will wear now through Fall! The Madewell ‘Remi Mule’ is my absolute favorite because I love the different animal print! It’s not your typical leopard by any means and is subtle enough to wear with pretty much everything! The other closet staple that I bought in 3 colors are the Steve Madden ‘Feather Flat’. They are the perfect flat that you can wear to work and casually.
I found two tall boots that I snagged and really loved: the Sam Edelman ‘Hilton Knee High Boot’ & the Steve Madden ‘Everly Over the Knee Boot.’ Both have a pointed toe that really elongates your legs (much appreciated by short girls like myself 😉). It is super rare to find an over-the-knee boot for under $100 and having personally bought this pair, I can say that the quality is great for the price!! I love the elastic back because getting this style of boot on/off can be super difficult and it helps immensely!
Lastly, I grabbed these Steve Madden ‘Tiffani Ankle Strap Sandals’ in the tan color for under $60. They are my new go-to for events and weddings. And speaking of, you guys know how much I love a simple nude sandal and this Vince Camuto ‘Corlina Heeled Sandal’ is the best closet staple! Also, don’t miss out on this pair of Adidas. They are so cute in the gray and my favorite pair of tennis shoes in the sale!

CLOTHES
Alright, let’s just start right off with what I think is going to sell out first. Comfy basic cardigans are always one of the first things to sell out and are so goo duties year! My favorites and ones I think you should grab ASAP are this BP Leopard cardigan ($49.50), this colorblock Madewell cardigan ($64.90), this chunky knit Topshop cardigan ($44.90), and this super cozy Barefoot dreams cardigan ($88.90).
My favorite jeans I grabbed are this button-fly Madewell skinny jean, these AG high-waist skinny jeans, these Madewell distressed skinny jeans, and this black Madewell high-rise skinny jean. Now is the time to grab designer denim that you would hesitate to purchase during the rest of the year because they rarely (if ever!) go on sale. I tried on so many pairs and loved 8, but those are my top 4! The fit and quality are hands-down the best of the sale. All of them fit true to size (size down 1 in Madewell if between).
Other than that, there are tons of awesome clothing items I picked up but some of my favorites I want to highlight are this Free People tunic, this leopard lace cami, and this chunky knit sweater I showed on my Instagram Story and you all loved so much!!
BEST OF CLOTHES
HANDBAGS & ACCESSORIES
Like shoes, handbags are something I save for to buy during the Anniversary Sale. They always come out with new styles and colors for the upcoming season, and the discounts are unbeatable. I grabbed a few different Tory Burch styles to try on during the try-on haul, and I will have to have you guys help me decide which ones to keep. My personal favorite that I have not seen in past year’s sales is this Tory Burch ‘Everly Flap Saddle Bag’. I am in love with the cream color and think it is perfect to transition and wear all Summer as well as Fall (and even as a Winter white!).
I also snagged this Tory Burch ‘Everly Mini Bag’ because it is a super slim crossbody that’s perfect for traveling and for Summer! There are card slots built into it so that you don’t have to put a wallet inside and it stays super lightweight. This one is a top-seller every year, so be sure to grab one ASAP if you love it! The other one I got is this large Tory Burch ‘Everly Tote’ in the black color, which would make the perfect work bag. It is large enough to fit a laptop, stands up on it’s own, and I love the small gold chain detailing.
As far as accessories go, I found tons of cute dainty jewelry and layering necklaces that I love. This one is the best everyday basic and I love how it looks layered with this one. I also grabbed two hats I know I am going to love this Fall: this solid tan one that comes in different sizes to ensure it fits your head perfectly and this one with the cutest snakeskin trim.
BEST OF HANDBAGS & ACCESSORIES
ACTIVE & LOUNGE
Cozy clothes are something that always make their way into my cart and with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, it was no different 😂. Good thing there are so many great ones! Let’s start with Barefoot Dreams cardigans because this is the one time of year they go on sale and they are SO.DANG.COZY! They are hands down worth the hype and you will wear it non-stop. There are several styles this year and you can find them all HERE. The blankets are also included and this one is my favorite!!
This year I snagged two of these BP loungewear sets and I’m in love. The charcoal leopard print is my favorite and they are lightweight enough to wear all year long. Lastly, these pajama sets are so soft and stretchy and I grab a pair every single year. This year I got the gray/white stripe combo.
As far as activewear goes, my favorite thing I found are these Zella ‘High Waist Live In Pocket 7/8 Legging.’ Definitely comparable to Lululemon and I love the 7/8 length!! I grabbed this Zella tank as well in both the green and gray colors because it is such a great workout top. I wear these Nike sports bras (also included!) underneath.
BEST OF ACTIVE & LOUNGE
BEAUTY
I am so stinking excited that my curling iron is included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year!!! It is makes down to just over $100 and well worth the investment! I have a tutorial for how I curl my hair in my Instagram highlights with this exact curling iron. Hurry because it will sell out ASAP!
The other things I grabbed that I know will be top-sellers are this Beauty Blender set (grab this quick!), this Oribe Magic Set that includes their dry texturizing spray which is the best you can buy, and this MAC Nude Lip Kit.
One thing that I’ve been wanting and finally splurged on is this is SimpleHuman mirror. It is so gorgeous, and it is such a great buy right now! I also grabbed a new set of silk pillow cases for Daniel and I. If you haven’t tried them yet, they are so great for your hair and help keep frizz down.

BABY
This year is exciting because I get to shop and take advantage of all the baby deals, and from what I’ve heard the deals are better this year than ever! We got the Nuna Rava Convertible Carseat because we are just about to transition Rhett and they’re almost $100 off!!! If you are in the market for an infant seat, the Nuna Pipa Lite XL is also included. There are also two Maxi Cosi carseats on sale as well!
Strollers are another thing I would look at during the sale because of the great deals. This Nuna Mixx Stroller is almost $200 off and can be paired with the Nuna Pipa car seat for infants. The Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair that is extremely popular is also almost $100 off!
If you are looking for gifts for new babies, this Little Giraffe blanket and towel both make beautiful gifts and come in several colors each!
