Denim Jeans Under $100

Happy Friday, friends!  Lately, I’ve been getting tons of requests to share more affordable pieces.  So today, I wanted to jump right in with a round up of jeans.  Jeans are honestly probably my most-worn piece of clothing, so I decided to look all over and try out several different pairs before narrowing it down to the ones in this post.  I’m so excited to share with you some high-quality, affordable jeans under $100 that all come in a variety of sizes and lengths!

Let me know what the next affordable round up option should be!

Free People Busted Knee Jeans  (size 26 | $78.00) | Cami | Shirt | Shoes

I’ve had these jeans for two or three years and they still look as good as the day that I got them!  The dye hasn’t faded and the rips haven’t gotten any bigger than they were, so they definitely haven’t torn or stretched at all.  They’re a super stretchy high-rise and come in a bunch of different washes, including black and white.  I’m 5’1″ and I haven’t had these jeans hemmed, and they’re a full length jean on me.  If you’re over 5’4″, they’ll probably be an ankle length jean for you.  The number one thing to keep in mind about these is to size up!  I sized up one-  I’m wearing a 26 in these, but I have some friends who have sized up two sizes.

AE Ne(X)t Level Jegging (size 2 Extra Short | $59.95) | Top | Shoes

This pair of destroyed white jeggings are from American Eagle.  I’m wearing my normal size, a 2 Extra-Short, but they’re shorter than I would typically like and fit almost like a crop.  I would have preferred a 2 Short to have a little bit of extra length.  They are high-rise, not sheer at all and they also don’t have pockets in the front which is awesome because then they don’t show on your thigh.  I think these are so cute and perfect for spring and summer.

Abercrombie High Rise Super Skinny Jeans  (size 26 Short | $88.00) | Cami | Jacket | Shoes

This pair of Abercrombie jeans are a super cute faded/washed black color with some distressing and chewed ankle hem.  The holes in the leg aren’t too big which is awesome if you don’t like huge holes, and they’re super stretchy and comfortable.  These jeans have a really high rise and sit just above my belly button.  I’m wearing a size 26 Short (2 Short) but I wish I would have gotten my normal size 25 Short.  For some reason, I thought these would run small and they don’t 😂 so definitely stay with your regular size!

AE Mom Jeans (size 2 Extra Short | $49.95) | Top | Shoes

These are the best high-rise mom jeans and they’re under $50.  They have no stretch which is perfect for mom jeans and the rips hit right at the knee.  If you’re between sizes, definitely size up.  Since they’re made of a more traditional denim material, they don’t have any stretch in them so they’re not going to be stretchy like a jegging.  I also really really love that these jeans have a zipper fly.  So many of the mom jeans I have found have a button fly so I love that these aren’t.  I’m wearing a size 2 Extra Short and you can see they’re definitely an ankle jean on me.  I could see myself getting a second pair of these in a 2 Short just for a little extra length.

AE High Rise Jeggings  (size 2 Extra Short | $49.95) | Top | Cardigan | Shoes

This pair is another high-rise option with rips in the knees from American Eagle. I bought these in a size 2 Extra Short right after having Rhett because I wanted a soft/stretchy pair of denim jeans that I could still feel comfortable in.  I do feel like now I could go down to my regular size since they’re so stretchy!  I’ve worn and washed them tons, and the rips haven’t torn or blown out at all.  I do have to mention that these jeans smell!  They have a chemical/dye smell and I noticed other people mentioned the same thing in the reviews of these jeans. One of you recently messaged me on Instagram to let me know if you put the jeans in a plastic bag in the freezer over night and then wash them, it should get rid of the smell.  I have yet to try it but I’ll keep you updated!

Abercrombie Ripped High Rise Jeans (size 26 Short | $88) | Top | Shoes

I am loving the wash on this pair for spring and summer!  This is another pair from Abercrombie and I’m wearing a 26 Short/2 Short but again I wish I would have gone with the 25 Short, so definitely stay with your true size.  The rise on this pair is the same as the washed black so it sits just above my belly button.  If you’re taller, have a longer torso or just prefer super high-rise jeans, you will probably love these.  If you’re someone you prefers a more traditional high-rise (just below the belly button), the American Eagle jeans in this post would be best for you!

Abercrombie High Rise Ankle Jeans (size 26 Regular | $88) | Sweater | Shoes

This might be one of my favorite pairs from this whole post!  They’re really different for me but I am loving the darker stripe on the side of the jeans.  It’s not printed on, but it almost looked like an exposed seam where it’s just dyed darker.  I’m wearing a 26 Regular/2 Regular and again I wish I would have gotten my true size.  They do still fit well for being a Regular instead of my typical Short in length. If you do prefer an ankle length and you’re taller than 5’2″ or so, I’d say just get your regular size/length and they’ll fall right at your ankle.  These are just super fun if you’re looking for something a little bit different for the spring!

AE Ne(X)t Level High Waisted Button Fly Jeggings  (size 2 Short | $49.95) | Tee | Shoes

This pair of high-rise button fly jeans from American Eagle are a really great medium blue wash that makes them perfect to wear all year.  I’m wearing a 2 Short because they didn’t have the 2 Extra Short that I would normally buy, so they come all the way down to the bottom of my ankle.  I do prefer a more ankle-length jean, so I would have liked my typical size/length with these. The great thing about AE jeans is that they offer so many different length options if you prefer one more over the other like I do!  If you’re looking for an affordable button-fly jean, I definitely recommend trying these out.
