During New York Fashion Week, I took the opportunity to branch out of my typical “jeans-and-a-tee” comfort zone and have fun with my style! This opened a door to my biggest new obsession: skirts. Before fashion week, I think I owned like two skirts total, and since I have accumulated like five more! I can actually remember myself saying, “I’m not a skirt girl. They look weird on me.” Well, I hope not because as you’ll be seeing I can’t stop wearing them!
There’s so feminine about a skirt, and it dresses up a top to a level that jeans just can’t. And this ruffle midi skirt I brought is so gorgeous! It was a tad bit windy if you couldn’t tell by the photos, but it just amped this skirt up to a whole other level 😉. I paired it with this Alice + Olivia cold shoulder blouse that is so pretty for Fall.
We snapped these photos in front of the Flatiron Building before heading to Shake Shack for lunch after the Banana Republic presentation. The whole trip was so much fun, and I really hope you guys have enjoyed getting mini snippets of our time there last week because I have loved sharing!
Hope you have a happy Friday! Thanks for stopping by!
